SHAKTI
Threads of Female Power

Shakti, in Indian cosmologies, signifies feminine power. This work reimagines divine feminine representations, often erased or damaged over time, through soft relief artwork in woolen textile. The piece occupy public space and invite viewers into a dialogue with their presence.

They evoke landscapes of imagination and resilience, highlighting women’s agency, labour, and capacity to inscribe meaning, while questioning who defines divinity and how it endures in shared cultural spaces.
